Are you in crisis?

If you need immediate help, or if you or anyone else is in immediate danger or harm, then please call the Police or Ambulance Service on 999.

If you are feeling suicidal or feel like hurting yourself, and you are concerned for your safety, you need to tell a doctor how you are feeling RIGHT AWAY. You should also contact a family member or a trusted friend, so that you won’t be alone right now.

You can also talk confidentially about your feelings to the Samaritans on their 24-hour helpline:      Tel:  116 123.

If safe to do so, you can also go to your local Accident and Emergency Departments where you will be assessed and treated by the relevant healthcare team.

If you urgently need medical help or advice out of hours but it is not a life-threatening situation then you can call NHS 111.
